The Nurgle Narrative
A Nurgle themed Warhammer 40,000 Narrative Campaign
Welcome to the landing page for my narrative campaign! The Nurgle Narrative will be a short campaign spanning roughly 3-5 games and will be centered around Nurgle Chaos Space Marines/Daemons. The main opponents to the Chaos forces will be Tyranids and Space Wolves.
I want this campaign to be heavily influenced by my viewers. During the course of the campaign I may poll for ideas or have you guys influence what battles may happen for the campaign.
I have had some setbacks that influenced the start of this campaign, and due to requests from my viewers have decided to make a log of the campaign progress. Any new updates or information will be added to this page with new info at the top!
December 2016: Themed Terrain and Army Painting
Finally getting settled in! Time to pick up the Terrain, campaign planning, and Army painting where we left off back in May. We should be able to kick this campaign off soon!
September 2016: New Studio and Gaming Area!
I have been working hard on setting up my basement to be the gaming man cave extravaganza. Once this finishes up I can pick up where I left off building terrain and custom models for this campaign.
July 2016: Bought a House!
I bought my first House in July 2016. There was a lot of stuff to fix up and take care of, not to mention the move itself. I didn’t expect to move until well after the campaign was concluded, so I am opting to delay the campaign until things calm down. I would rather put it off and do it right than rush the campaign and have the content suffer.
May 2016: 350 Subscriber Giveaway – Campaign Ideas!
To start this campaign off, I collected some viewer submitted ideas for the campaign by hosting a 350 subscriber giveaway on my YouTube channel.

Below I have a chart I wrote up a while ago to try and make a Dice based wound chart for each warlord. Hope this adds a little flavour to each leader of the armies.
Role on this chart only if your warlord is a casualty of the previous game!

Nurgle have invaded and now inhabit a planet in the same star system as Feneris. A lush a green planet on the outskirts of the system with a large human populous. The Space Wolves want to protect the human population of this planet. The tryanid hive fleet is drawn in by the vast amount of biomass that the planet has.
Space wolves have set up a small comms array and have attempted to fortify this area without drawing the attention of Chaos. A small nurgle warband stumbles across the base, it is primarily made of cultists and core units. play the scenario “Emperors Will” from the BRB with the Comms Array building being the Space Wolves objective and an abandoned Imperial Bunker being occupied by nurgle.
A large forest spreads across 2/3 of the table, the last third is a suburb. Tyranid infiltrating forces are spread across the board looking for the optimal strike location of the rest of the Hive to consume biomass. A Chaos Lord and his warband move out of the suburb to hunt the Nids to stop the chance of an entire hive ship infesting. Genesteelers and Lictors start hidden in the trees terrain. Each turn roll a D6 for each cluster of trees, on a 3-4 A unit of 5 genesteelers pop out, on a 5-6 a unit of lictors emerge (1-2 is nothing). These genesteelers and Lictors do not count towards the starting points value and count as if they have come from reserve.
Follow these story arc’s seperately and then play it out so the stronger of the two (either SW or Nids) will fight it out over the city in a bigger game at the end of the Campaign J Enjoy it mate!
A lord of nurgle has hijacked a space-hulk containing tyranids, and has set it on a collision course with a highly populated imperial settlement. Alerted to the danger posed by the Chaos Lord and his star-ship sized bioweapon, the Space-Wolves answer the call.
Long-term Victory Conditions:
SPACE WOLVES – Having boarded the space-hulk, the space wolves must fight their way to the bridge in time to activate the ship’s warp-drive and steer the vessel clear of the imperial planet.
NURGLE – The chaos lord has up until now managed to quarantine off his entourage from the ravenous appetites of the tyranids. But things have changed, and he and his men must defend the space-hulk from any interference, be it from the astartes or the hive-mind. The sons of Russ have launched boarding torpedoes at the vessel, which have opened up the defences chaos were using to hold back the tyranids, and now all hell has broken loose. However, as long as the ship stays its course, it will deliver a plague of rot, and a swarm of tyranids down upon the feeble corpse-worshipers on the planet below.
TYRANIDS – eat everyone, crash into the planet, eat everyone else!
GAME 1 – CONTAINMENT BREACH – Nurgle vs Tyranids. (Winner earns 1 point)
GAME 2 – PUSH FORWARD! – Space Wolves vs Tyranids (Winner earns 1 point)
GAME 3 – TO THE BRIDGE – 3 way battle (for each point earned, add X points to your starting army size) (If tyranids win here, they win the campaign. If they do not win Game 3 they lose)
GAME 4 – THE SHOWDOWN – (only play this game if tyranids havent already won) Space Wolves vs Nurgle (whoever wins Game 4, wins the campaign)
The Space Wolves and Tyranids are locked in a war, with neither side gaining an advantage. Meanwhile a Chaos Sorcerer of Nurgle concieves of a plan to use the tyranid venoms, biomass, poisons and bacteria to create a new disease to unleash upon the galaxy
(GAME 1) A Nurgle Dark Apostle with plague marines guards and his Cultists are trying to open the warp and unleash the daemons of Nurgle. The Space Wolves are sent to kill the Dark Apostle on the plant so they send the drop pods down unknown to what else lays in wait on the plant. Genestealer Broods which have been sleeping have been awoken with the brood lord and are not happy and join the killing.
(THE TYRANID PLAYER NUMBERS THE BUILDING AND ROLLS NOT SHOWING THE OTHER 2 PLAYERS AND WILL NOT DEPLOY HIS/HER UNITS IN THE BUILDING UNTIL SOMEONE ENTERS THEM OR HE/SHE WISH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING THE UNITS HAVE TO LEAVE OR BE IN THE BUILDINGS THEY ROLLED)
( NURGLE HOLD AT LEAST 1 OF THE RITUAL CIRCLES FOR 5 TURNS THERE ARE 3 OF THEM AND KEEP THE DARK APOSTLE ALIVE)

Nurgle units: Dark Apostle of nurgle 4 units of nurgle cultists (any size) 2 units of plague marines (any size)
Spaces Wolves units: Wolf Lord (DONT NEED DROP POD MODELS) 2 blood claws (any size) 2 wolf scouts (any size) 1 grey hunters (any size)
tyranid units: brood lord 4 Genestealer Broods (any size)
Nurgle is the corruptor of all life form. The vision of nurgle is to corrupt any single life organisme in the universe. So far we only know about humans corrupted by Nurgle. But now with the arrival of this new race, the Tyranids, nurgle have found a new type of life to be corrupted. So far the defense mechanism of the Tyrnids have avoid the trials of Nurgle to corrupting them but it will not last for long. With this in mind Nurgle decided to attack with the purpose to capture new organisme the Vangard of the Leviathan Swarm. In concrete the went to the planet Lemhuur 1346 where the Tyranid fleet has been weakened after fighting against the Space Wolves. The Empire champions together with the Imperial guard arre trying to stop the advance of the Tyrnaid fleet and at this moment the tyranids did not manage to keep advancing. This is the ideal moment for Nurgle to understnad best these estrange organisme and find the way to corrupt them with the chaos dark powers.
This can be a good start for the campaign: Space wolves are defending the planet and trying to eliminated the tyranids. The Tyranids are waiting for reinforcements of the Tyrnaid fleet to devour the planet. An Nurgle are coming to infest the part of the fleet with the Nurgle corruption. If they can reach the source of the regeneration of this part of the fleet they will be able to corrupt the Tyranids. When the Space wolves detected the Nurgle forces they will start attacking them as well, they hate more Nurgle than the Tyrands. And the space wolves may end up fighting with the Tyranids to avoid that the chaos can spread they infestion. I hope this is a good base for a campaign. Cheers
